As a designer and architectural illustrator, most of my professional life has focused predominantly on the controlled built environment, which was increasingly at odds with my long-term love of the outdoors and exploration of the landscape.
I am now most comfortable with a camera in my hand and strive to capture moments that provoke an emotional response by seeking out locations to create images of inspiring places. Sometimes wide-open spaces, sometimes close details; typically capturing the presence of nature and sculptural quality of our environment in strongly defined landforms, changing weather and ambient light.
